  This is another experience I had couple of years ago. Although in this case I wasn't losing money, but losing my temper. For my oldies I am still subscribed to a satellite Dish TV service. Couple of years back I started getting calls from the company 'informing' me of the fantastic services being offered by the company. When I pick up the call, they used to play recorded message about some service. I used to hang up immediately. Initially it did not bother me much. But I wondered why am I getting calls when I have activated DND service for all except Banking and Finance.   The TELCOS back in action... to sneak in and grab your money! Couple of days back I got a message saying I have subscribed to some stupid ’Contakt Gaming service’, which I had not. I have never played paid online games in my life, nor intend to do so in future. I decided I am going to discontinue the service right away. I opened the service App provided by the telecom company. To my surprise, the service wasn't listed under my account. So there was no way I could unsubscribe it from the app. So I decided I am going to call the customer care.   मोबाईलवर आपल्या पासवर्डसची फाईल तयार करून ठेवणार एक महान सीए मला ठाऊक आहे. आपल्या नातेवाईकांचे, मित्रांचे वाढदिवस, कौटुंबिक नाती, इत्यादि सारी माहिती हौसेने फेसबुक, तसंच Google contacts मध्ये भरून, आपल्या सोबत इतरांचाही बाजार उठवणारे महाभाग अनेक आहेत. एवढं पुरेसं नाही म्हणून आपली शाळा, बँक, आता या क्षणी कुठे आहोत, वगैरे कौतुकाने शेअर करुन आपल्या पायावर धोंडा मारून घेणारे, तर वारूळातील मुंग्यांप्रमाणे अगणित आहेत. त्यांच्यासाठी हे दोन अनुभव. --- गुगलची घुसखोरी : काही महिन्यांपूर्वी ‘अमेजन फायर टीव्ही’ स्टिक आणली. अलीकडेच ‘यंग शेल्डन’ या मालिकेचा सीझन संपल्यामुळे तिच्या ऐवजी पाहण्यासाठी म्हणून ‘अमेजन प्राईम’वर एखाद्या विनोदी मालिकेचा शोध घेत होतो. त्यातून ‘सिटीजन खान’ (इंटरनॅशनल चित्रपट पा… पुढे वाचा »
